We are 1/3 of the way through 2023. How is it shaping up for you?

Today, the Sun is conjunct Mercury (when both planets will be at 11° Taurus).

This is also known as Cazimi, Mercury can be described as being "in the heart of the Sun".

The Sun is shining its bright, golden light on Mercury, the planet of communication.

Even though Mercury is retrograde, this is still a Cazimi day!

Be open to receive potent downloads, ideas, inspirations, creative mojo.

Listen for the whispers from the Universe.

The other big, Astrological happening today is Pluto stations Retrograde.

Pluto, the planet of life, death, power, passion and transformation, will be retrograde from May 1-October 10, 2023.

Pluto spends 5-6 months retrograde every year, so this is not new or surprising.

But, it is interesting to take note that Pluto moved into Aquarius (for the first time in about 200 years) on March 23, 2023.

Aquarius is the sign of freedom, independence, invention and future thinking.

Pluto in Aquarius promises big transformations.

But first, it's going to revisit Capricorn for a little bit (June 11, 2023- January 20, 2024).

That makes me think that there is still work to be done to dismantle old power structures and forms of control.

Be on the lookout for powerful people to be brought down due to corruption or scandal.

On the personal level, this retrograde period is a good time to reflect on your own transformation.

How is your motivation level? Are you feeling inspired or completely worn out?

Are you in a situation or relationship where you are being controlled? You could be controlled by bad habits, addictions (to food, alcohol, drugs, shopping, etc.) or by someone who is exerting too much influence on you.

This is the perfect time to extract yourself.

It's also a good time to face your fears and release them.
